Did You Forget To Feel Your Life?

In the rush,

In the chase for external accolades

Did you forget?

Did you forget to feel your life?

To stop and smell the roses

To breathe deeply into this precious moment?

Did you forget to appreciate your body?

Its strength, its endurance,

The way it carries you every day?

To tend to your relationships

To nurture the ones that matter

To care for your whole being -

Your heart and your spirit too?

Did you forget to listen -

To the wind, your heartbeat

To what truly matters?

To pause, to savour

To let life move you?

Doesn’t your life deserve this?

This slowness, this reverence, this care?

Can you choose this now?

Not tomorrow, not someday -

But now,

In this breath,

In this heartbeat,

In this moment of remembering?
