I am a human, not a machine.

I cannot be fully systemised -

reduced to outputs, efficiencies,

or endless productivity

My life does not belong

to faceless corporations,

to dashboards and data streams

that are always trying to measure my life……

We The People

I wrote this poem after witnessing how many people gathered in peaceful protest for the No Kings march in America over the weekend.

Over 8 million people, across more than 3000 cities, standing for justice, for dignity, for truth……

This year

The kettle takes too long to boil

My body is stiff
