Weaving Wonder

I gather my life

In simple acts

Pouring tea

Lighting some incense

Chopping herbs for cooking

Watching the dappled sunlight

Spread across the wooden floors

Like a blessing of warmth

There is a kind of pleasure

In living this way

Not extravagant

But rich

To live this way

To touch

To taste

The inherent gorgeousness of every day

Gathering the gold

And feeling the wonder of being alive

With my whole being

This is the art of weaving wonder
