Our Precious Attention
Where do you place your precious attention?
Is it scattered like leaves in the wind -
Distracted, tugged in a thousand different directions?
Is it surface-level,
Skimming the edges of what truly matters?
Or is it deep, sustained, reverent -
A gaze that honours the moment,
That sees beyond the noise
And into the heart of things?
Our attention is so very precious.
It shapes our minds,
Carving pathways, sculpting our perceptions,
Our capacity to be present
It is the key to regulation,
To balance
To the steady rhythm of a life lived with intention
What we choose to attend to
Is what we become
So, where will you place your precious attention today?
Is it worthy of your full self?
Is it calling you to be more present?
Let us attune to what is true
And allow our attention
To guide us toward the life we long to live.
